Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky is in full support of efforts at WestWorld of Scottsdale — after the venue closed out 2025 with significant investments and a more diverse year-round event portfolio.

Preserving and protecting the one-of-a-kind of marketing cachet of WestWorld of Scottsdale has been a major focus of Mayor Borowsky during her first term.

WestWorld of Scottsdale, city officials report, capped off the year with higher attendance, a broader mix of national, regional and community-focused events.

Also, because of stakeholder meetings organized by the Office of Mayor Borowsky, targeted infrastructure upgrades were achieved including new permanent barns, a modern public address system and crucial drainage improvements.

“These advances reflect Scottsdale’s dedication not just to preserving WestWorld, but to enhancing it as a vibrant driver of tourism and community opportunity,” Mayor Borowsky said. “Protecting WestWorld isn’t merely about supporting events—it’s about safeguarding an economic engine that sustains local jobs, fills hotel rooms and bolsters our city’s identity.”

WestWorld of Scottsdale is a 386-acre venue, hosted roughly 80 events over 257 event days this past calendar year and generated substantial economic impact statewide, city officials contend.

“Our investments this year strengthen the visitor experience and secure Scottsdale’s position as a premier Western lifestyle and tourism destination,” Mayor Borowsky pointed out.
